STERLING ENGINE AND TOOL GRINDER

This customer is a tool and die maker and enjoys building projects on his 1998 SHOPTASK machine.  He also makes spare parts for obsolete cars and tractors.

The Sterling engine is one of the most popular projects for home machinists.  It can be bought as a set of plans or an unfinished materials kit.  This customer built it from plans and every part is a real piece of art.  It is sitting on the table of his 1998 SHOPTASK machine which is 6" wide.  The new TRI POWER machine has a 9" table.

This is a tool grinder for sharpening end mills.  It was also built from plans. It's a gem of workmanship and also pays for itself in recycled tools.
