ST 54

The ST 54 is a follow rest used to support parts during turning operations. Long and small diameter parts will have a tendency to flex under the force of the cutting tools.  This tool uses 2 adjustable bronze riders which  follow the cutting tool from the opposite side of the cut to prevent this flexing.  PLEASE NOTE:  The follow rest is a standard feature on BRIDGEMILL and TRI POWER machines.  It can be purchased as an upgrade for SHOPTASK 17-20XM,XMTC, GOLD series and SHOPMASTER 2000 machines.
