AUTO STOP MECHANISM

A feature we developed years back has been a real job and money saver for our customers as well.  Most machinists, amateurs and pro's alike will eventually make a mistake while running their power feed option.  This usually results in the toolpost running into the spinning chuck and destroying the project as well as some parts of your machine.  To address this issue, years ago we developed the Auto stop mechanism which the operator can pre-set and the power feed on the X axis will automatically shut off in either direction.  primarily designed as a safety device, we  soon realized that  it served an important machining function as well.  When turning up to a shoulder, the operator can preset his stop point for those jobs which require a series of cuts.  Because the reverse stop can also be pre set, the operator can simply reverse the lever and allow the tool to return to its starting point under power as well- no tedious hand cranking back and forth.  The auto stop adjusters  have a quick release button for fast settings as well as a dial for fine adjustments.
