WARRANTY & TRADE-IN

SHOPMASTER has the best warranty in the industry.   We also offer an exclusive 12 month trial period.

We accept trade ins on new machines. (see details below)

• SHOPMASTER offers a standard 3 year parts replacement warranty on all new machines.
• SHOPMASTER offers a lifetime parts replacement warranty on all machines ordered with CNC, DRO or BALL SCREWS.
• Replacement parts are shipped  only after we receive the warranty claim part in our warehouse.

 
WARRANTY

SHOPMASTER machines are warranted for THREE full years against defects in materials and workmanship.  During that time, SHOPMASTER will replace free of charge any defective parts that are returned freight prepaid to our warehouse. Upon receipt of the defective parts, SHOPMASTER will  send replacement parts from our warehouse or our manufacturing facility by the most economical means of transportation. This warranty does not cover parts that are worn out through the course of normal operation or are damaged through negligence on the part of the operator. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages resulting from defects in material and workmanship.

12 MONTH TRIAL PERIOD

Try a SHOPMASTER* for a full 12 months. If , for any reason, within 30 days of the end of the trial period** you decide to return your SHOPMASTER, call our customer service department at 800 343 5775.  We will assist you to arrange shipping back to us.  When we receive the machine we will refund your original purchase price less any freight charges.  Please note our warehouse DOES NOT accept freight collect shipments.  It is your responsibility to package the machine properly for shipping. Any shipping damage due to poor packaging will be deducted from your refund.  Normal wear is expected, but damage or rust due to neglect or abuse will be deducted from the refund amount.  On machines sold with a free freight special, the actual cost of the original freight will be deducted from the refund amount.

TRADE  IN POLICY

SHOPMASTER offers a trade in policy for original purchasers of any of our machines.  We will give you up to 80% of your original purchase price*** toward the purchase of a new machine.  All trade in machines must be delivered to our warehouse freight pre-paid and properly packaged.  All trade in machines must be complete with the original accessories and be in fully working order.  Normal wear is expected depending on the age, but severely damaged, rusted or incomplete machines will be pro-rated for value based on materials and labor necessary to re-furbish them for resale.  Customers are welcome to deliver their trades and pick up new machines in person to save freight charges.

*    This offer applies to the standard Shopmaster machine.  Machines ordered with custom
       options such as CNC, DRO or BALL SCREWS are not included.  Shopmaster will aid
       you in selling these machines  or take  them on a consignment basis.  Machines financed
      through the lease program are not returnable.
**  You must use your machine for the full 12 month trial period.  Machines returned prior
      to this will be on a consignment for sale basis. 
*** The trade in offer applies to the standard machine and tools.  Extra tools or custom
        options will retained for use on your new machine.
